Very often, toward the end of summer vacations children re-learn the “I’m Bored” song. If you’re close to water, here is an idea to help them forget the words.

Find a tyre dealer that deals with farmers. From the dealer you will need a truck or tractor inner tube.

If it has any punctures, have the dealer repair them. In most cases the dealer will not charge you for the inner tube.

Throw, or roll the inflated inner tube into the water.

Announce to all the bored and uninterested children in the vicinity that there is a special prize for the child that is able to be the last one still on the tube at the end of ten minutes. Kind of a water-borne “king of the castle”.
