How to Splish Soapy Splash

Moms and Dads can join in, and have a great slippery slide fun day with all the kids.

You will first need to beg, borrow, steal (or buy) a large reinforced plasticised type truck tarpaulin, or other long strip of strong plastic.

Roll it out on the lawn.

Use ropes and tent pegs to stretch it out as flat, and tight, as possible.

Empty a cup of cooking oil onto the tarpaulin and use a broom to spread it around.

Fetch the hose, and switch it on. Not too hard, you want the water all over the tarpaulin.

The second last item is dishwashing detergent. Get a cheap half-gallon of the stuff.

The final thing needed is a wild gang of kids in bathing costumes.
