How to Build a Beach Tower

When you are down at the beach again, build a series of these charming little beach towers. Other beach goers will follow the course you have laid out

Find a few flattish rocks. About 5 or 6, the largest should be slightly larger than your palm.

Put the largest rock on the sand, and balance the others on top of it, one at a time.

It’s considered bad form, but not cheating, if you use a bit of sand here and there to help the rocks balance.

A little further along the beach, build another tower.

And then another, until you have towers every 15 to 20 yards, for as long as you like. It has a kind of Zen appeal.
