Can you pass on a message correctly? Can that person pass on the message correctly to the next person too? Try this fun game to find out!
1
Try gathering at least 8 children or even adults into two teams of 4 each, but the more the merrier – and funnier!
2
Sit or stand the participants in two rows.
3
Whisper an easy sentence into the ear of the first person in the row, slowly and clearly, but quietly! They must not yet begin.
4
Whisper the same easy sentence into the ear of the first person in the second row.
5
Call out “go!” and they must pass the message on by whispering the message into the ear of the person behind them. They must whisper it just once – no repeats!
6
The team that finishes first gets one point.
7
The team that has the last person in it repeat the message out loud, that matches the original message the closest, gets one point too, even if it’s the same team that was the fastest.
8
After five games tally up the points and the team that has the most points wins small prizes.
9
Perhaps add a special prize for the funniest end message of the lot – and it does get funny, especially when there are many people in a team.
