Safety instructions to follow when wanting to experience a waterfall flowing down on top of your head!
1
If it’s really warm, rather leave your shoes on as the bottom of a waterfall pool can have sharp stones, and your shoes can dry quickly afterwards as you walk on to the next forest or mountain tourist spot.
2
Step carefully as you approach the spray of the falls, so as not to slip on slippery rocks.
3
As you get closer, gauge the temperature of the water by feeling just the spray at the edges. You don’t want to dash right under the waterfall and have icy-cold water shock the breath out of you.
4
Then step in slowly, feeling the weight of the falls above you as you move further in. If it seems too strong, rather stay near only the edge of it.
5
As much as possible, keep your head tucked down, to make breathing easier so that you can stand under the falls for longer.
6
Step out and shout with glee!
