Forget buying cranberry sauce in a can, nothing beats good old homemade cranberry sauce. In this simple recipe, we will show you how to make good old fashion homemade cranberry sauce.

Ingredients you will need:

* 2 cups (200 g) white sugar
* 2 cups (255 mL) water
* 8 cups (2 12-oz package) cranberries

Boil two cups of water into a pot.

Add two cups of sugar into the boiling water.

Rinse the cranberries.

Add the cranberries to the boiling sugar water.

Stir the cranberries in the boiling sugar water for a good five minutes or in till all the cranberries have popped open.

You will then want to refrigerate your cranberries for a good 4 hours before serving.
