Google has helped life a lot easier for most people. But there’s more to Google than what most people know about. Maximize your Google use through these easy tips:

1.Use explicit an phrase when typing something in the search engine bar. For instance, if you’re searching for information about internet marketing, always search explicitly for the phrase. To do so, simply enclose the term within quotation marks; thus, written as “internet marketing.”

1.Always exclude words. If you’re searching for information on “internet marketing” but you do not want to get results about its SEO aspect, you can do so by placing a dash (-) in front of the word which you wish to exclude. In this case, it will look like this:
Internet marketing – advertising

Most of the time, we search a specific site for the content of a specific phrase. If the site does not support a built-in search feature, you may use Google to search the site for your term. All you need to so is type in “site:somesite.com” modifier.

If you want to include a word in your search but you don’t like to see results of its synonymous terms, simply use the ~ in front of keyword; thus, it will look like:

If you get an anonymous caller on your mobile phone, you may look it up on Google using its phonebook feature. To do so type:
