If you're not part of the so-called techie generation, SMS can be quite a complicated task. But now, not anymore! Find out how to make SMS easier with these tips.

Decide – with or without dictionary. For some people especially those who are fond of abbreviating, using SMS without the dictionary is much easier. For some; however, the dictionary is useful. Decide on which method are you most comfortable with.

One-press SMS access. With some mobile phones, you can customize the keypad to a one-press internet access. This means that in just one press, you are taken into the SMS menu at once.

Abbreviate when needed. Know when and when not to abbreviate. In some cases, using numerals like “4” instead of “four” save a whole lot of time.

Know the shortcuts. Know the shortcuts in your keypads. This can save time and effort.

Study your phone features. Your mobile phones may have features that you are not aware of but could be useful to you.

Before buying a cell phone, find out whether you’ll find it easy to use it. Some phones especially the most recent ones could become a little more complicated to use than the old ones. Know your purpose and buy a phone made especially for your purpose.
