How to Create A Custom Twitter Background Using MS Paint

Now a days it seems that almost everyone is on Twitter! Many of you are probably wondering how you can give your Twitter page that custom look. In this instruction I will teach you how to create your own custom background using MS paint.

You will need a Twitter account and MS Paint.

Log into your Twitter account.

Open up MS Paint.

Next you will have to change the width and height of the MS Paint layout. To do this you will need to select IMAGE on the tool menu bar and select the Attributes option.

Update the Width to be "1445" and the Height should be "850." Also make sure "Pixels" is selected in Units and "Colors" is selected in the Colors section unless your background image is black and white.

Now that you have your blank canvas you can start your design. Now before you add your background images you will want to know that Twitter allows your Left graphic width to be 245 pixels and your Right graphic width to be 250 pixels. If you do any larger your images could be covered up.

Once you finished creating your design, you will want to save the background image as a jpg.

Go into your Twitter account, select "Settings" on the top right hand corner.

Next select the Design tab.

Click on the "Change background image" button located on the bottom of your Twitter page.

Next you will see a Browse button. Click on this button, here you will select the jpg twitter background image you created.

Once you image has uploaded to the site you will then click on the "Save Changes" located on the bottom of the page.

Presto, you have now created your custom Twitter page!
