Get the job your really want by getting through career interviews with flying colors.
1
Research. Conduct a research about the company and the job position which you’re applying for.
2
Know your contact. Know your contact’s name. Remember the exact address and never ever forget the time of the interview. You wouldn’t want to arrive late so make sure you know all necessary contact information.
3
Think of possible questions. What would the contact person possibly ask you? Think of the possible questions and list them down.
4
Practice your answers. In follow up to number 3, prepare for answers to your list of questions. Do not memorize but make sure you understand every question and every answer.
5
Dress up. What you wear creates an impression. Be in your proper corporate attire. You don’t need to wear branded clothes but make sure you wear them neatly.
6
Make an impression. First impressions last. If ever you get hired, they will always remember you the way they saw you for the first time.
7
Stay confident and positive. A confident and positive attitude radiates so make sure you have this from within.
8
Maintain eye contact. Look at the interviewer in the eye. Eye contact is a sign of sincerity and credibility.
9
Body language. Sometimes, we become more comfortable talking when we use gestures. It’s okay to do so but don’t overdo your body language.
10
Say “thank you.” Regardless of whether or not the feedback was good, thank the interviewer for inviting you to come and for giving you a chance.
