Gather up all of your things that aren’t being used and sell them on EBay, go to a flea market or have a yard sale.

Try selling your used clothes. We all know the cost of clothing is getting outrageous. Luckily though, there are new upscale consignment shops popping up all the time that will actually purchase your used clothing from you. Plato’s Closet and Deja Vu are a couple of examples.

Search the internet for freelance writing positions and try your hand at being an author. Depending on how you do, this may lead to a regular source of income for you.

Become a substitute teacher. Being a teacher is one of the most important jobs there is. Perhaps it isn’t something you want to do all the time, but get on a list and become a substitute. This way you can only work when you have free time.

Consider renting out a room in your house. This can be for a few months or even just for the weekend. Of course you should do a background check on any potential tenants, but this is an easy way to make money without doing a thing!
